Mr Beasley (unplugged)- Corrinne MayI'd like to see your eyes through those goggles that you're wearing
Don't try to hide away
*Just be yourself Mr. Beasley
I don't need your show of attitude
Cos it's your soul that makes me fall in love with you
Fall in love with youi'm HOME!!!!
KL was fun fun fun :D
i didn't get the chance to shop, but owells, at least i had GOOD FOOD. hehehe.
i rushed home after a half day's work at the seminar, to pack and bathe and everything. i managed to make it to beach road for the bus in time, only to find that i had forgotten to bring my
passport. i was such a tard. so JJ accompanied me to go home and get it, and we went to KL with danial's uncle instead. sure was more comfortable. hahahaha. :D
anyhows, you won't believe how much i enjoyed this job. Fraser's Hill was great (gosh i miss the weather), i conquered my phobia of falling down (i know, so embarrassing) while racqueting the nature trail, with much tears and sweat and blood and a fair share of leeches. apparently leeches aren't very big things, but still wormy enough to be disgusting. blood suckers.
to me, the best part of my job was looking after the kids. my group was called the Dancing Bananas! they named themselves that after sue taught them the banana song :D they were SO adorable, and so everything i wish i was when i was 11. i only got to spend 2 days with them, but i think they were so much more fun and spontaneous compared to singaporean kids. a lot of them were also really stylish, like original Von Dutch caps, Christian Dior handbags (cecilia.. hahaa) and what-nots. they were wonderful nonetheless. :) here are some pictures:

boys on the bus! the two on the left are filipinos; the one with the long hair is zach and he likes heavy metal (GOSH). the other 2, according to the other kids, can sing!

the bus people. cheeky little ones. they were daring each other to kiss the girls. and the one on the far left kept poking me!

this is sam. he's a boy. class clown! said so himself. hahaa.

this is Nick! isn't he adorable?? c=

our winning Totem!

the Dancing Bananas minus 2! sam ran off somewhere, as usual. so hyperactive! and i'm like as tall as the kids. taufik they all kept saying i should just go be a 6th grader. hummmph.

this is where i had my dinner on my last night in KL. the servings were HUGE.
not to forget that eileen and i got our haagen daz too. hahaa. :D YUM.
ok this is a really long entry. and i'm not done!
so we caught the 10am bus back to singaore. felt kinda sad leaving the place. i was being overfed and literally paid to have fun, cuz i was enjoying myself so much. even the leeches.
anyhow, i managed to spend some time shopping at the army market at beach road. the stuff there was really not bad. i got myself an ethnic tibetan bracelet; i was no doubt very pleased. i had to rush home after that, dropped my bags, had a good shower (mmmmm...), then left the house again to meet the guys. we caught like, the 3.50 am Four Brothers, so we spent the whole night slacking. slacking= DOTA. me and david talked while they played. makan. movie. home in the morning. severe exhaustion!
i had so much fun the past few days. i don't want to work next week! and goodness me i found out that i'll only get my telemarketing paycheck near the END of october. what's the bloody point then? i won't get to spend my money. sigh.
owells, this weekend i'm gonna be recuperating. i shall finally finish Orlando tonight. next weekend is for partying ;)
